It's always hard for me to write journals. I'm actually pretty shy ! But there's a few things I need to say about this project, so I'll do it anyway.

I'm a french artist, I have a degree in ceramic and I've been a ball jointed doll owner for a quite few years now. I've always loved those, but lately I found it difficult to find dolls suiting my (weird) taste. I like people with very strong features, Alice Cooper, Billy Drago, Tilda Swinton... And it's pretty hard to find these kind of faces on the market, since I don't like minimees at all. Same thing with anthros : I love anthros, yet I can't find the "perfect" one I've been looking for all this time. They were either too big or too small, too child-like or too... er... "adult", too expensive or even sold out...

I talked with my friend Pandalilou ( [link] ) and she asked "Why don't you start making your own, then ?". Why, indeed ? Since she was already a dollmaker (take a look at her creations, it's the cutest thing EVER !), she teached me a lot and helped me start my own amateur doll company, l'Heure du Thé (= Tea Time). I choose this name because we're both tea lovers and we drink quite a lot of it every time I drop by. Moreover, since her LiMons are named after infusions, my Tinies are named after tea, while the MSD are named after coffee and the SD, alcohol. It's a little nod at of our friendship and of how much she helped me !

Anyway, all my dolls are handmade and far from perfect. I'll try to improve myself everytime and I hope you'll like them. I'll start selling them after the Ldoll Festival [link] !
